Redington Shares Hit 52-Week High After Record Q1 FY27 Results; Profit Soars 77%, Revenue Tops ₹34,900 Crore

Redington shares surged as much as 18% to a 52-week high of ₹338.50 on Thursday, July 30, after the technology distribution company reported record financial results for the first quarter of FY27. The stock was trading at ₹319.55, up 11.17%, at around 10:54 AM on the National Stock Exchange, taking the company’s market capitalisation to ₹24,993.33 crore.

The company delivered its strongest-ever quarterly performance, with consolidated profit after tax (PAT) jumping 77% year-on-year to ₹486 crore, compared with ₹275 crore in the same quarter last year. Revenue from operations rose 35% to a record ₹34,922 crore, up from ₹25,952 crore a year ago.

Operating performance also remained robust. EBITDA climbed 76% to ₹707 crore from ₹401 crore, while the EBITDA margin improved to 2.02% from 1.55%, reflecting stronger profitability despite a challenging global environment.

India remained the biggest growth driver, with revenue increasing 63% and PAT rising 60% year-on-year. The company attributed the performance to large enterprise deals, higher PC realizations amid memory supply constraints, continued premiumisation in smartphones, and strong demand for cloud and cybersecurity solutions. Revenue in the Middle East and Africa also grew 15%, supported by cloud and cybersecurity offerings despite ongoing geopolitical uncertainties.

Across business segments, the Software Solutions Group expanded 52%, Technology Solutions Group grew 50%, Endpoint Solutions Group increased 35%, and Mobility Solutions Group advanced 21%. Managing Director and Group CEO V. S. Hariharan said the company delivered its highest-ever quarterly revenue and profit, with earnings growing significantly faster than sales, highlighting its focus on profitable and sustainable growth. He added that increasing adoption of cloud, AI-enabled infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital transformation positions Redington well for long-term growth opportunities.

The stock has gained 16% since the beginning of 2026, rising 15.6% over the past month and 17% in the last six months, reflecting growing investor confidence following the company’s strong quarterly execution.
