BSE Limited reported a strong set of Q4 results 2026 and full-year FY26 earnings, supported by sharp growth in derivatives trading, higher transaction charges, and rising activity across capital markets.
The exchange posted consolidated revenue from operations of ₹48,340 million in FY26, up 63% year-on-year from ₹29,573 million. Transaction charges emerged as the biggest growth driver, surging 87% to ₹37,950 million as trading activity accelerated across equity and derivatives segments.
Net profit attributable to shareholders climbed 88% to ₹24,970 million, while earnings per share stood at ₹60.61. Operating EBITDA nearly doubled to ₹31,557 million, pushing EBITDA margin higher to 65% from 54% a year earlier. The company’s Q4 results 2026 also reflected controlled expense growth despite higher regulatory and employee-related costs.
BSE’s derivatives business continued to expand rapidly during the year. Average daily notional turnover in equity derivatives jumped to ₹245 trillion in Q4 FY26 compared to ₹128 trillion in the same quarter last year. Revenue from the derivatives segment rose sharply to ₹11,279 million during the quarter.
The exchange also benefited from strong IPO activity. During FY26, BSE hosted 109 mainboard IPOs that collectively raised ₹1.77 trillion, alongside 146 SME IPOs that mobilized ₹62 billion. Total market capitalization of BSE-listed companies crossed the historic USD 4.5 trillion mark.
Its mutual fund platform, BSE StAR MF, also recorded solid momentum, processing 840.7 million orders worth ₹11.5 trillion during the year. Revenue from the platform increased 24% to ₹2,852 million.
The Q4 results 2026 highlight BSE’s growing dominance in India’s capital market ecosystem, particularly in derivatives trading, listing services, and digital investment infrastructure.
