CRISIL Limited reported a strong set of Q4 results 2026, with sharp growth in revenue and profitability supported by robust demand across its ratings, analytics, and risk solutions businesses.

The company’s income from operations rose 30.1% year-on-year to ₹1,058 crore, compared with ₹813 crore in the same period last year. The strong performance was aided by accelerated renewals during the quarter, which contributed nearly US$4.5 million in additional revenue.

Profit before tax climbed 35.7% to ₹308 crore from ₹227 crore a year earlier. The company also benefited from a foreign exchange gain of ₹14.4 crore, compared with a loss of ₹5.2 crore in the previous year. Net profit surged 45.9% to ₹233 crore, highlighting improving operational efficiency and higher-margin business growth. CRISIL also announced an interim dividend of ₹9 per share, up from ₹8 per share last year.

The ratings services business posted revenue growth of 20.2% to ₹322.6 crore, while segment profit increased 22.1% to ₹162.9 crore. Margins improved slightly to 50.5%, despite a 12% decline in India’s corporate bond issuances during the quarter.

The research, analytics and solutions segment remained the biggest growth driver, with revenue rising 34.9% to ₹735.6 crore. Segment profit jumped 66.9% to ₹166.9 crore, supported by strong demand for lending risk solutions and corporate investment banking analytics.

CRISIL also continued expanding its artificial intelligence strategy through domain-led GenAI platforms such as GenEye Credit, DeepMine, CRISIL I360, and Myron AI. The company said these tools are helping improve productivity, automate credit workflows, and strengthen data intelligence capabilities.

India’s mutual fund average assets under management reached ₹82.52 lakh crore during the quarter, while corporate leverage remained near decadal lows, creating a supportive environment for financial services and analytics firms.
