TVS Motor Company shares traded in the green on Monday after the automaker reported strong July sales and impressive financial performance in its Q1 results 2027, reinforcing investor confidence in the company’s growth outlook. The stock climbed over 1% during early trade, touching an intraday high of ₹4,373 on the NSE before trading about 0.3% higher in the morning session.
According to the company’s exchange filing, total sales increased 38% year-on-year to 629,675 units in July 2026, compared with 456,350 units in the same month last year. Overall two-wheeler sales also rose 38% to 603,138 units, while domestic two-wheeler sales recorded an even stronger 42% growth, reaching 437,394 units.
The biggest highlight came from the electric vehicle business. EV sales surged 158% year-on-year to 60,934 units from 23,605 units a year earlier. TVS Motor currently leads the electric two-wheeler market with a 27% market share as of July 2026, ahead of Bajaj Auto and Ather, reflecting strong demand for its EV portfolio.
International business also remained robust, with total overseas sales rising 29% to 184,264 units. International two-wheeler sales climbed 27% to 165,744 units, supporting the company’s overall growth momentum.
The strong operating performance follows an equally solid Q1 results 2027, where revenue increased 33% year-on-year to ₹16,296 crore. Operating profit rose to ₹2,343 crore from ₹1,803 crore, while net profit jumped 67% to ₹1,058 crore. Backed by healthy domestic demand, expanding EV adoption, and steady export growth, TVS Motor shares have gained 14% so far in 2026 and surged 51% over the past four months.
