Sangam (India) Limited reported a strong performance in its Q4 results 2026, with a sharp rise in profitability driven by improved margins, higher exports, and a strategic shift toward value-added products.
For the March quarter, revenue rose 17.9% year-on-year to ₹880 crore, while EBITDA jumped 40.7% to ₹98 crore. EBITDA margin expanded by 180 basis points to 11.2%, reflecting better cost control and product mix. Net profit more than tripled, surging 245.3% to ₹33 crore, with earnings per share climbing to ₹6.54.
For the full year, revenue stood at ₹3,243 crore, up 12.9%, while EBITDA increased 26.4% to ₹329 crore. The company reported a 159.7% rise in annual profit to ₹83 crore, supported by operating leverage and efficiency gains. Gross margins remained stable at 40.1%, with Q4 margins improving to 40.6%.
A key highlight of the Q4 results 2026 was the company’s export performance, which reached a record ₹1,167 crore, signaling stronger global demand. Working capital efficiency also improved significantly, with the cycle reduced to 55 days from 80 days last year.
The balance sheet showed steady improvement. Sangam maintained liquidity of ₹195 crore and reduced its net debt-to-equity ratio to 0.8x, compared to 1.1x in previous years. Interest coverage improved to 2.0x, indicating better debt servicing capacity.
Operationally, capacity utilization remained high across segments, with yarn at 95%, denim fabric at 98%, and PV fabric at 95%. The company continues to strengthen its integrated business model, supported by a newly installed recycled polyester fibre plant that meets nearly 50% of daily fibre requirements.
Looking ahead, Sangam is focusing on renewable energy expansion, having commissioned 12 MW of hybrid power in March 2026, with plans to add 18 MW of solar capacity. This is expected to generate annual savings of up to ₹32 crore.
The Q4 results 2026 underline Sangam’s transition from volume-driven growth to higher-margin, value-added segments such as seamless wear and branded apparel. This strategy, combined with export momentum and cost efficiencies, positions the company for steady growth in the evolving textile market.
