GTPL Hathway Q4 Results 2026: Revenue Rises 7%, But Profit Hit by Forex Loss

GTPL Hathway Limited reported a stable performance in its Q4 results 2026, with steady revenue growth and continued expansion in broadband and digital cable services, even as margin pressures and forex losses weighed on profitability.

For the financial year ended March 31, 2026, the company posted consolidated revenue of ₹30,843 million, marking a 7% year-on-year increase. EBITDA stood at ₹4,321 million, with margins at 11.5%. However, profitability remained under pressure, with Profit Before Tax at ₹178 million, impacted by an unrealized forex loss of ₹91 million during the year.

The company’s core cable TV business remained strong. GTPL Hathway reported 9.40 million active set-top boxes and 8.70 million paying subscribers in Q4 FY26. Its network spans over 100,000 kilometers and distributes more than 975 channels, including over 97 HD channels, reinforcing its leadership in key markets like Gujarat and West Bengal.

A key highlight in the Q4 results 2026 was the launch of “GTPL Infinity,” a Headend-In-The-Sky (HITS) platform in November 2025. This platform enables pan-India content distribution, particularly targeting underserved rural and cable-dark regions, while reducing infrastructure costs and deployment time.

Broadband services continued to show gradual growth. The company reached 1.06 million broadband subscribers, with average monthly data consumption rising 10% year-on-year to 436 GB. The Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) stood at ₹465, while its homepass network expanded to 5.95 million, with around 75% ready for fiber upgrades.

Over the long term, GTPL Hathway has delivered consistent growth. Between FY18 and FY26, revenue grew at a CAGR of around 16%, broadband subscribers expanded nearly fourfold, and net worth doubled. The company has also remained profitable for eight consecutive years and declared a 20% dividend for FY26, signaling steady shareholder returns.

Looking ahead, GTPL Hathway is positioning itself as a national player by leveraging its HITS platform and partnerships with technology providers like Oracle, Nokia, and Juniper Networks. While near-term profitability may remain under pressure, its expanding digital infrastructure and rural reach strategy could support long-term growth.
