Engineers India Q4 Results 2026: Profit Growth, Strong Order Book and Overseas Business Drive Momentum

Engineers India Limited (EIL) reported a solid financial performance in its Q4 results 2026 update, supported by higher revenue, improving profitability and a strong rise in international business orders. The engineering and project management company ended FY 2025-26 with healthy growth across key financial metrics, reflecting sustained demand from energy and infrastructure-related projects.

For the full financial year, total income climbed nearly 27% year-on-year to INR 41,232 million from INR 32,478 million a year earlier. EBITDA rose to INR 6,959 million compared with INR 5,123 million in the previous fiscal year, while maintaining an EBITDA margin of 18%. Profit after tax increased 19.28% to INR 6,916 million, with earnings per share improving to INR 12.3 from INR 10.3.

The Q4 results 2026 data also highlighted strong business visibility. EIL secured total business worth INR 79,781 million during FY26, with overseas consultancy orders emerging as a key growth driver. International consultancy contracts jumped sharply to INR 49,297 million compared with INR 10,768 million in the previous year.

The company’s remaining order book expanded significantly to INR 151,093 million from INR 117,173 million a year earlier. Consultancy projects accounted for 72% of the total order pipeline, while hydrocarbons remained the dominant sector with over 80% contribution.

Segment performance showed that while Turnkey projects contributed 53% of revenue, the Consultancy business continued to generate stronger profitability with a 24% margin. Turnkey margins also improved to 17%, compared with 8% in FY25.

The Q4 results 2026 announcement also reflected EIL’s focus on shareholder returns. The company declared a gross dividend of INR 2,529 million, translating into a 90% dividend rate and a payout ratio of 37% against profit after tax. Investors may also closely watch the company’s expanding overseas exposure and growing project pipeline, which could support long-term earnings visibility.
