IT services giant Wipro has secured a major eight-year strategic transformation contract with Singapore-based food and agri-business firm Olam Group, with the deal expected to exceed $1 billion (around ₹9,314 crore).
As part of this engagement, Wipro will acquire Olam Group’s IT and digital services business, Mindsprint Pte. Ltd., in an all-cash transaction valued at $375 million (approximately ₹3,494 crore). The acquisition, which includes 100% of Mindsprint’s shares, is expected to close by June 30, 2026, pending regulatory approvals and customary adjustments.
Founded in 2007 and headquartered in Singapore, Mindsprint employs over 3,200 professionals across India, Singapore, the US, the UK, and the Middle East. It reported consolidated revenues of $135.6 million in 2025. Mindsprint will continue under its current leadership, with CEO Suresh Sundararajan at the helm.
Under the eight-year engagement, Wipro will deliver end-to-end transformation services to Olam Group using a consulting-led and AI-powered approach. The partnership will leverage Wipro Intelligence, its suite of AI-driven platforms and solutions, to enhance operational efficiency, drive innovation, and accelerate market-ready transformation across Olam’s global operations.
Olam Group, majority-owned by Temasek Holdings, employs nearly 40,000 people and serves over 22,000 customers in more than 60 countries. The divestment of Mindsprint aligns with Olam’s 2025 Re-organisation Plan, aimed at responsibly monetising assets and returning value to shareholders.
Wipro CEO Srini Pallia said the deal strengthens the company’s farm-to-fork capabilities and expands the impact of AI-driven solutions in the food and agri-business sector. Olam Group CEO Sunny Verghese highlighted that the collaboration would accelerate Olam’s transformation agenda while building a more agile and resilient organisation.
