Nuvoco Vistas Q1 Results 2027: Revenue Jumps 9%, Records Highest-Ever Q1 EBITDA

Nuvoco Vistas Corp. Ltd. delivered a strong start to the financial year with solid operational and financial performance in its Q1 results 2027, supported by higher cement sales, improved profitability, and continued capacity expansion across key markets.

For Q1 results 2027, the company reported consolidated total income of ₹3,129 crore, up 9% year-on-year, while EBITDA increased 7% YoY to ₹572 crore, marking the highest first-quarter EBITDA in the company’s history. Cement sales volume rose 5% YoY to 5.3 million metric tonnes (MMT), reflecting steady demand despite global geopolitical challenges.

A major highlight of the Q1 results 2027 was the inauguration of a 2 MMTPA grinding unit at the Limla Cement Plant in Surat, completed ahead of schedule. The new facility strengthens Nuvoco’s presence in Western India while freeing up production capacity at its Rajasthan plants to better serve Northern markets.

The company also said work is progressing on the Kutch project, with phased operations expected to begin from Q3FY27. In addition, construction has started on a bulk cement terminal at Viramgam, Gujarat, featuring a dedicated railway siding. The terminal is expected to become operational by Q2FY28 and will improve the company’s distribution network across Gujarat.

Managing Director Jayakumar Krishnaswamy said the company delivered higher EBITDA and profit growth through disciplined cost management and operational efficiency despite macroeconomic and geopolitical headwinds. He added that Nuvoco remains focused on prudent procurement, supply chain optimisation, and timely project execution.

With its ongoing expansion programme on track, Nuvoco aims to increase total cement production capacity to 35 MMTPA by FY28, strengthening its position in India’s fast-growing building materials sector.
