Mahindra & Mahindra<\/a> reported strong monthly and annual sales performance, driven by robust demand for its utility vehicles. The company\u2019s SUV sales growth<\/strong> stood out in March 2026, rising 25% year-on-year to 60,272 units in the domestic market, compared to 48,048 units a year earlier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Including exports, total SUV volumes reached 62,109 units during the month. Overall auto sales<\/strong> climbed 21% year-on-year to 99,969 vehicles, supported by contributions from commercial vehicles and overseas shipments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the full financial year, the company achieved its highest-ever FY26 volumes<\/strong>, selling 6,60,276 SUVs, marking a 20% increase over FY25. This milestone highlights Mahindra\u2019s continued dominance in the utility vehicle segment amid rising consumer preference for larger and feature-rich models.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The LCV sales<\/strong> segment also showed steady growth. Domestic sales of light commercial vehicles (up to 3.5 tonnes) rose 13% in March to 24,928 units, while annual volumes reached 2,89,597 units. Exports declined slightly in March but posted an 18% increase for the full year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nalinikanth Gollagunta<\/a>, CEO of the automotive division, said the company closed FY26 on a strong note, achieving record volumes across both SUVs and light commercial vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
