A total of 112 mainboard IPOs mobilised \u20b91,78,963 crore, up 10% from \u20b91,62,387 crore raised through 78 IPOs in FY25.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite the overall record, the final quarter was muted, raising only \u20b918,772 crore. This marks the first time India has achieved consecutive years of record IPO fundraising, noted Pranav Haldea, Managing Director of PRIME Database Group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The largest IPOs included <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bullscreen.in\/company\/TATACAP\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Tata Capital<\/a> at \u20b915,512 crore, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bullscreen.in\/company\/HDBFS\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">HDB Financial Services<\/a> at \u20b912,500 crore, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bullscreen.in\/company\/LGEINDIA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">LG Electronics<\/a> at \u20b911,605 crore. However, the average IPO size fell 23% to \u20b91,598 crore. Weak listing performance impacted investor sentiment, with average listing gains dropping to 8% from 30% the previous year. Overall, listed IPOs returned an average -7% amid broader market corrections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Investor participation also moderated. Only 56% of IPOs received subscriptions above 10 times, compared with 72% in FY25. Retail applications declined to 12.87 lakh from 21.31 lakh. Mutual funds emerged as the top anchor investors, contributing 14.89% of issues, overtaking foreign portfolio investors at 13.38%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Looking ahead, 144 companies have SEBI approval to raise around \u20b91.75 lakh crore, with another 63 awaiting clearance. SME IPOs also gained momentum, with 254 issues raising \u20b910,944 crore, although listing gains and investor enthusiasm remained subdued.
