Interestingly, just a day earlier, eight members of the OPEC+<\/strong> \u2014 including Saudi Arabia, Russia, Iraq, UAE, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Algeria, and Oman \u2014 agreed to increase oil production by 206,000 barrels per day starting soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This move was aimed at keeping markets well supplied. However, traders believe that any large-scale disruption in the Strait of Hormuz could outweigh the additional supply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
