Hindalco Industries<\/a> reported a strong start to FY27, posting its highest-ever quarterly consolidated net profit of \u20b97,013 crore in the April-June quarter, up 75% from \u20b94,004 crore in the same period last year. The strong performance has put the company\u2019s Q1 results 2027<\/strong> firmly in focus among investors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Consolidated revenue increased 32% year-on-year to a record \u20b984,825 crore, while EBITDA jumped 73% to \u20b914,989 crore, also marking an all-time quarterly high.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hindalco shares extended their gains after the Q1 results 2027<\/strong> announcement. The stock was trading 1.85% higher at \u20b91,046 in afternoon trade on Friday, August 7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company said strong performance across its India operations and improved profitability at Novelis supported the results. Hindalco\u2019s aluminium upstream business recorded an 81% rise in EBITDA to a record \u20b97,390 crore, while copper EBITDA increased 36% to \u20b9918 crore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Novelis reported its highest-ever quarterly adjusted EBITDA of \u20b94,875 crore, up 37% year-on-year. Production at its Oswego plant has restarted and is ramping up, while commissioning work at Bay Minette is progressing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hindalco said all four major businesses\u2014Aluminium Upstream, Aluminium Downstream, Copper and Novelis\u2014reported record quarterly EBITDA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, consolidated net debt-to-EBITDA increased to 1.95 times as of June 30, 2026, from 1.02 times a year earlier. The company is continuing investments in alumina, aluminium, copper and downstream capacities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
