Nykaa<\/a> reported a strong set of Q1 results 2027<\/strong>, with consolidated net profit surging 219% year-on-year to \u20b979 crore from \u20b924 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Alongside its earnings, the beauty and fashion e-commerce company announced the acquisition of a 51% stake in Aminu Wellness, strengthening its presence in the fast-growing wellness segment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company posted consolidated revenue of \u20b92,782 crore for the quarter, up 29.1% from \u20b92,154 crore a year earlier. Revenue also increased 5% sequentially from \u20b92,648 crore, reflecting steady demand across its core businesses. The beauty segment remained the primary growth driver, generating \u20b92,516 crore in revenue, while the fashion business recorded nearly 50% year-on-year growth to \u20b9252 crore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nykaa’s operating performance also improved significantly during the Q1 results 2027<\/strong> period. EBITDA climbed to \u20b9235 crore from \u20b9140 crore in the previous year, while the EBITDA margin expanded to 8.45% from 6.5%, indicating better operating efficiency. Sequentially, net profit remained largely flat compared with \u20b978.75 crore in the previous quarter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company’s gross merchandise value (GMV) rose 34% year-on-year to \u20b95,590 crore. Beauty GMV increased 29% to \u20b94,105 crore, while House of Nykaa continued its strong momentum with an annualised GMV run rate of approximately \u20b93,758 crore and quarterly net sales value (NSV) of \u20b9550 crore, representing 36% year-on-year growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Commenting on the Q1 results 2027<\/strong>, Executive Chairperson, Founder and CEO Falguni Nayar said the quarter delivered the company’s highest growth momentum and EBITDA margins in the last 12 quarters. The acquisition of a majority stake in Aminu Wellness further highlights Nykaa’s strategy to expand beyond beauty and fashion, positioning the company to capture opportunities in India’s rapidly growing wellness market.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
