Reliance Industries<\/a> reported a 22% year-on-year decline in consolidated net profit to \u20b920,946 crore for the first quarter of FY27, compared with \u20b926,994 crore in the same quarter last year. The Q1 results 2027<\/strong> reflected the impact of a sharp decline in other income, even as the company delivered strong revenue and operating performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reliance Industries\u2019 revenue from operations rose 25% year-on-year to \u20b93.11 lakh crore from \u20b92.48 lakh crore. Consolidated EBITDA increased 11% to \u20b947,517 crore, compared with \u20b942,905 crore a year earlier. However, EBITDA margin narrowed to 15.24% from 17.25%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other income fell 57% to \u20b96,550 crore from \u20b915,119 crore in the year-ago period. The previous year had benefited from higher other income following the sale of Reliance\u2019s stake in Asian Paints<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jio Platforms remained a key growth driver, with net profit rising 9% to \u20b97,764 crore. Its subscriber base grew 7.1% to 533.3 million, while ARPU increased to \u20b9215.6 from \u20b9208.8.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reliance Retail\u2019s net profit declined 14% to \u20b92,806 crore, while its customer base rose 10.6% to 396 million. The oil-to-chemicals segment reported a 17.2% increase in EBITDA to \u20b917,010 crore, supported by stronger fuel cracks and downstream margins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
