Trading was temporarily suspended after the stock hit its upper circuit limit, reflecting strong investor interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sterlite Tech\u2019s board approved the QIP launch on June 24, inviting bids from qualified institutional buyers (QIBs), including mutual funds, insurers, pension funds, and foreign investors. Under Securities and Exchange Board of India rules, the company can offer up to a 5% discount on the fixed floor price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The capital raise is expected to strengthen Sterlite Tech\u2019s liquidity position and help lower debt, positioning the company for the next wave of data center and AI-driven digital infrastructure expansion. As demand for high-speed connectivity, cloud infrastructure, and optical fibre networks rises, the move could support future growth in India\u2019s AI ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The company\u2019s stock has been one of the strongest performers in the market, delivering over 483% returns in the past year and nearly 470% gains in 2026 so far. Financially, Sterlite Tech posted a sharp rise in quarterly earnings, with net profit jumping to \u20b959 crore in Q4 from \u20b95 crore a year ago, while revenue rose 37% to \u20b91,441 crore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-9-16 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Sterlite Tech shares in upper circuit after launching QIP at premium;
