The company posted a significant rise in trading volumes during the quarter, reflecting higher demand and an expanding renewable energy footprint.

For the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2026, PTC India recorded trading volume of 23,572 MU, marking a 24% year-on-year increase compared to 19,004 MU in the same period last year. Trading margins also improved sharply by 26.6% to ₹76.23 crore, while total operational income rose 19.3% to ₹115.83 crore.

However, reported profitability showed a decline. Quarterly Profit After Tax (PAT) stood at ₹75.74 crore, down 85.5% from the year-ago period. The decline largely reflects a high base effect, as the previous year’s earnings included a one-time gain from the sale of PTC Energy Limited assets.

For the full financial year, Q4 results 2026 data showed total traded volume reaching 92,802 MU, an increase of 12.1% year-on-year. Trading margin increased 11.2% to ₹310.52 crore, while standalone PAT stood at ₹397.04 crore.

PTC India also announced a total dividend of ₹8.50 per share, including an interim dividend of ₹3 and a final dividend of ₹5.50.

The company continues to strengthen its long-term growth strategy through renewable energy and cross-border power initiatives. Renewable assets, including hydro projects, now account for 58% of its operating contract portfolio. During the year, PTC entered a joint venture with NLC India Renewables to develop 2,000 MW of clean energy projects covering solar, wind, hydro and battery storage.

Exchange-traded power transactions are becoming a key growth driver for PTC, contributing 56% of total volume during the financial year. The shift highlights broader changes in India’s power market as companies increasingly adopt flexible and automated trading models.

PTC India Q4 Results 2026: Key Financial Highlights

Metric

Q4 FY26

YoY Change

Trading Volume

23,572 MU

▲ 24.0%

Trading Margin

₹76.23 Cr

▲ 26.6%

Operational Income

₹115.83 Cr

▲ 19.3%

Profit After Tax (PAT)

₹75.74 Cr

▼ 85.5%

Total Dividend

₹8.50/share

Announced

Full-Year FY2025-26 Performance Snapshot

Metric

FY2025-26

YoY Change

Total Trading Volume

92,802 MU

▲ 12.1%

Trading Margin

₹310.52 Cr

▲ 11.2%

Operational Income

₹452.57 Cr

▲ 0.5%

Standalone PAT

₹397.04 Cr

▼ 53.6%

Total Comprehensive Income

₹398.28 Cr

—

Business & Growth Indicators

Growth Area

Performance

Renewable Portfolio Share

58% of operating contracts

Long & Medium-Term Portfolio

7,500+ MW

Exchange-Traded Volume Share

56% of total volume

Active Key Clients

858

Clean Energy JV Pipeline

2,000 MW

New Cross-Border & Industrial Clients

25 Added

Source: https://www.bseindia.com/xml-data/corpfiling/AttachHis/9ca78f46-c238-4bf4-962e-dc3326f06034.pdf

PTC India Limited reported strong operational growth in its Q4 results 2026, driven by rising…

[2
407,264
post-2081","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-energy","tag-ptc","tag-q4-results-2026
["GET
