Companies including Maruti Suzuki India Limited, Hyundai Motor India Limited, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd., and Mahindra &amp; Mahindra Ltd. posted higher volumes compared to April 2025, reflecting steady demand momentum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bullscreen.in\/company\/MARUTI\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Maruti Suzuki India Limited<\/a> remained the market leader, reporting total sales of 239,646 units in April 2026, up from 179,791 units a year ago. Domestic passenger vehicle sales rose sharply to 187,704 units from 138,704 units. Growth was driven by strong demand for compact cars such as Baleno, Swift, and WagonR, alongside utility vehicles like Brezza and Grand Vitara. The Hyundai Venue remained a key contributor, with 12,420 units sold during the month. Export sales stood at 13,708 units, supporting overall growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bullscreen.in\/company\/TMPV\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd<\/a>. reported total passenger vehicle sales of 59,701 units, up from 45,532 units last year. Domestic volumes reached 59,000 units, while electric vehicle sales surged to 9,150 units from 5,318 units, underlining growing EV adoption in India.
