Kitchen Appliance Stocks Rally: TTK Prestige Soars 15%, Stove Kraft Climbs on Induction Demand Boom

TTK Prestige Jumps 15%, Stove Kraft Rises as LPG Shortage Drives Induction Cooktop Demand

Shares of TTK Prestige Ltd and Stove Kraft Ltd surged sharply during Wednesday’s trading session as rising demand for induction cooktops lifted investor sentiment toward kitchen appliance manufacturers. The rally comes at a time when concerns over LPG cylinder shortages and supply disruptions are pushing households and businesses to look for alternative cooking solutions.

TTK Prestige, which has a market capitalization of around Rs 7,000 crore, saw its stock jump nearly 15 percent during the session. The shares climbed to an intraday high of Rs 556 compared to the previous closing price of Rs 485, reflecting strong buying interest in the counter.

Meanwhile, Stove Kraft, the company behind several kitchen appliance brands, also witnessed solid gains in the market. With a market capitalization of about Rs 1,600 crore, the stock rose nearly 7 percent to touch an intraday high of Rs 523.55, up from its previous close of Rs 487.80.

The surge in these stocks is largely linked to a sudden spike in demand for induction cooktops across the country. With LPG supply disruptions affecting several regions, many households and commercial kitchens have started shifting to electric cooking appliances as a practical alternative.

Online shopping platforms are witnessing a sharp jump in orders for induction stoves. According to Flipkart, sales of induction cooktops on its platform have tripled over the past four to five days compared with the previous three to four weeks. The highest demand has been recorded from cities and regions such as Delhi, Kolkata, and Uttar Pradesh.

A similar trend has been reported by Amazon India, where demand for induction cooktops surged nearly twenty times in the last 24 hours compared to a normal day. The sudden spike highlights how quickly consumers are shifting to alternative cooking options amid concerns about LPG availability.

Offline retail stores are also seeing a noticeable increase in footfall for induction appliances. Several retailers have reported up to a fivefold jump in sales of induction stoves over the past week. In addition, shop owners say they are receiving a rising number of enquiries from households, restaurants, and hotels searching for substitutes as commercial LPG supply disruptions continue in some areas.

Market participants believe that if the demand trend for electric cooking appliances continues in the coming weeks, companies like TTK Prestige and Stove Kraft could see improved sales momentum, which is currently being reflected in their stock price performance.
